This is the regular monthly meeting of the Monterey Bay Consultants Group, sponsored by IMC (the Institute of Management Consultants). All interested parties welcome.
SPECIAL NOTE: Instead of the usual buffet, we are going to try ordering from the breakfast menu for this meeting.

The options for healthcare insurance are changing. Although the new healthcare law is passed, it will be years before it is completely implemented. Health insurance premiums have also jumped in California. How do we make sense of all this change?
Betty J. Lindstrom, FLMI, RHU will be answering your questions about health insurance and the changes small business owners are facing. You will learn:
· The differences between Health Savings Account eligible plans v. PPO and HMO plans.
· What is changing next year and how it effects the small business owner.
· How to get coverage when you have a pre-existing condition.
· Ways of using benefits as a way to improve employee morale and satisfaction.
Betty will also overview the timing and the changes contemplated in the new healthcare law over the next 4 years.

Betty J. Lindstrom, FHMI, RHU, has been in the health insurance business for 30+ years, and has operated her own firm, Lindstrom Insurance for the last 15 years.
Lindstrom Insurance focuses on employee benefits for firms with 2-50 employees; Health, Life and Disability insurance for individuals and Long Term Care insurance.
