Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) is bringing its Guinness World Record best-selling, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), to the Dulles Expo and Conference Center for its first ever Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS). These flagship events are poised to be the largest and most prestigious competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournaments in North America. More than a thousand Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players are expected to descend upon Chantilly to showcase their skills at this premiere event but only one will be crowned the winner.
Weekend activities include many side events such ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD, Win-A-Mat, Dragon Duel and a tournament for the new video game, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010 Reverse of Arcadia. Duelists and attendees alike can also capture their experience by posing with KDE's jumbo-sized Stardust Dragon statue. In addition, Duelists new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG can get their game up-to-speed with help from a hands-on demo of the wildly-popular Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's DUEL TERMINAL. These arcade-style video game machines can play and teach the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, and dispense unique cards to players
The winner of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series will receive an Ultra Rare YCS Prize Card, Trophy, paid travel to National Championship in July, or another YCS, a YCS Game Mat, and a Netbook computer with 500 BoosterPass points. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 32 players.
