SUMMER CAMP 2008 – CAMP TAHQUITZ
Camp Tahquitz is located in the San Bernardino Mountains, across the valley from Big Bear Lake. The Camp owns one square mile of land (640 acres) and is adjacent to the San Gorgonio Wilderness Area. Camp Tahquitz is at 6,500 feet elevation and consists mostly of pine forest with several large meadows and its own lake. For more information check out: http://www.camptahquitz.com/
DATES:
Camp is Sunday August 3 to Saturday August 9. We will leave from the Scout House at 9:00 a.m. on August 3. Families are invited to visit on Friday afternoon and stay for the campfire Friday night. There will be a small charge for food for families. We will be leaving before noon on Saturday August 9.
There will be a mandatory pre-camp meeting on July 10 at 7:30 at the Scout house.
COST AND SIGNUPS
Signups will end May 30, 2007. The cost is $250 per scout. Adult leaders are free.
