Come to share your business vision and upcoming events, make new connections and lend support to one another. The JumpStart Contra Costa chapter meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
In April 2009, health and wellness business professionals met for the first time in Walnut Creek to initiate the Contra Costa Chapter of JumpStart, the Rockridge-based "entrepreneur group with soul". The new chapter meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
You are invited you to join us on May 13th from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. We meet at the Heavenly Café, 3116 Oak Rd, in Walnut Creek. The café is a short walk from the Pleasant Hill BART Station and there is plenty of parking nearby.

Some History
The Rockridge JumpStart group has been meeting for many years. Typically 12-15 people come to each meeting. All entrepreneurs are welcome to join our group and the annual membership fee is $30. Typically, we each spend $5 or more for a drink and/or food at each meeting. The core group in Oakland includes business and health professionals, e.g., acupuncture, health insurance, yoga, catering, art, mythic astrology, electrician, accounting, bodywork, energy work and many more.

The Oakland group meets the first and third Wednesday of every month from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. We provide support, discuss marketing ideas, network and two members give 15-minute presentations each meeting. JumpStart provides the support we all need in this new business environment. Our focus is on getting to know one another, providing information and ideas, rather than selling goods and services to each other.
