4th Annual San Rafael Food & Wine Festival at Falkirk Cultural Center
The 4th Annual San Rafael Food & Wine Festival will be held at the
historic Queen Anne Victorian Falkirk Cultural Center, with its
beautifully landscaped grounds, a perfect setting for a wine and food, art
and crafts festival. This one day event is held on Saturday, August 14th
from 12-6pm.
Festival attendees can enjoy food from area restaurants including Whipper
Snapper, Broken Drum Brewery, Il Davide, Pasta Pomodoro, The Olema Inn &
Restaurant, Chalet Basque Restaurant and sample wines from outstanding
boutique wineries including Karl Lawrence Winery, Terra Savia, Robert Rue
Winery, Chateau Felice and Martin Ray Winery. There will be a chef demo
area featuring demonstrations by noted chefs from Il Davide, The Olema Inn
& Restaurant & Chalet Basque. In addition to the food and wine there will
be over 25 art and crafts booths displaying art and sculpture, jewelry,
clothing, and other crafts.
Attendees can purchase all day food and wine tasting tickets online in
advance by visiting the web site: www.SRESproductions.com or tickets can
be purchased on site the day of the event.
While tasting gourmet fare, attendees will hear smooth jazz and classical
music by the areas' best musicians. Eat, drink and relax while enjoying
the beautiful 17 room Queen Anne Victorian with rolling lawns gazing
toward Mount Tamalpais. It is located at 1408 Mission Avenue, downtown San
Rafael. This is the perfect location to celebrate the region's food and
wine, arts and crafts.
