CELEBRATE EARTH DAY WITH THE GREENEST BOAT ON THE BAY San Francisco – Celebrate Earth Day aboard the nation’s most environmentally friendly ferryboat. The Hornblower Hybrid, the only hybrid vessel in the United States, is offering people the opportunity to celebrate earth day out on the San Francisco Bay. All proceeds will go to Save the Bay, an organization dedicated to protecting, restoring and celebrating San Francisco. WHEN: Wednesday, April 22, 2009 – departures at 11 AM, 1 PM and 4 PM. Each cruise is 90 minutes in duration. WHERE: Depart from Alcatraz Landing at Pier 33. TICKETS: Purchase and print tickets in advance online at www.alcatrazcruises.com or by calling 415-981-7625. Tickets can also be purchased day of at the ticket booth at Alcatraz Landing. WHAT: A bay cruise in celebration of Earth Day will take passengers out on the scenic San Francisco Bay on the Hornblower Hybrid. Proceeds from the event will benefit Save the Bay.
