ETM-Bay Area's First Annual Benefit for Music Education
Come celebrate and support ETM-Bay Area's (Education Through Music-Bay Area) work restoring music education to the curriculum of schools serving at-risk populations at our first annual benefit. The event will feature performances by students and teachers from our partner schools, food and drinks, a terrific silent auction, and surprises to come.
At ETM-Bay Area, we believe every child deserves a well-rounded education: one that includes music both as a subject in its own right and as a means of supporting learning in other areas. We currently provide music instruction that integrates with classroom learning to two Richmond, CA partner schools instructing all 955 students enrolled on a weekly basis, and bring music into the lives of over 1,700 more students at schools from Fremont to Ukiah through our consulting work with the Dominican Schools Music Project (DSMP).
Our benefit will highlight the successes of all our programs, share our vision to bring music education into the lives of students at additional partner schools in years to come, and provide an opportunity for our guests to listen ETM-Bay Area and DSMP students perform. Please join the celebration and experience the joy that comes from hearing the students we instruct perform at our first annual benefit.
