Seminars-On-Sustainability™ (S-0-S)
Are you a Social/Eco/CSR Entrepreneur (green builder, organic farmer, alt. energy producer, sustainable designer, architect, engineer, etc.) who is thinking of starting a sustainable business or currently operating such a business? Are you a little unsure as to what it takes to lead such a business? Well we heard your calls for help, your S-O-S, and so we are producing our Seminars-On-Sustainability™ (S-0-S). The goal of these workshops is to enable local, small sustainable, businesses to quickly get up to speed on the fundamentals of Sustainable Leadership, Business & Financial Operations. The first three of our four(4)hour seminar workshops cover the following:
1. Sustainable Startup™ Fundamentals For CSR/Social/Eco Entrepreneurs
2. Understanding Core Risks Of The Privately Owned & Emerging Sustainable Business
3. Leading Your Financial Operations With Financial Harvesting®
The workshops will be led by Paul L. Schechter, the founder of Community Harvest®. Community Harvest® is a Coaching, Consulting & Certifying firm. They have designed & produced a Sustainable Leadership System for small businesses which will be introduced at these workshops. Paul has a Masters Degree in Management, was formerly a Sr. Manager with Ernst & Young (Whinney), CPA's and is a Certified Mediator. He is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, the Un. Of Illinois and CSU and has 20+ years experience. He has previously taught seminars for the California Society of CPA's and Beverly Hills Adult Education.
The workshop will be held at The Ambrose(www.AmbroseHotel.com), a green hotel, that has won numerous sustainability awards. Certified Organic fruit and cheese will be provided by the Urth Caffe (www.urthcaffe.com).
