HOOKED ON SWING: THE BEST OF BIG BANDS CELEBRATION
w/WILD COOL AND SWINGIN' - LEGENDS OF LAS VEGAS SHOW
Two shows in one great night featuring one of the hottest swing bands in
Southern California.
Part One is a tribute to the best of the big band era with 12 piece swing
band the TONY CAPKO'S BIG BAND. This reknown ensemble pays tribute to
GLENN MILLER, TOMMY DORSEY, ARTIE SHAW and other top big bands from the
30's-40's in this high energy, sizzling hot presentation.
Part Two is 'Wild Cool and Swingin':The Legends Of Las Vegas' with
vocalist Mark W. Curran singing the greatest hits of the Swingin' Las
Vegas 50's-60's with the hits of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin
and Sammy Davis Jr. backed by TONY CAPKO'S BIG BAND.
Special featurred guest performer is Nancy Osborne, whose dazzling talents
performing standards jazz and swing have been featured in Tex Beneke's
Orchestra, The Chordettes and many others!
This show will take you back to the days when big bands and swing ruled,
the nights were wild cool and swingin, and the music never stopped.
