Who is Francesa?
Francesca is you, Francesca is me. Francesca represents every woman who
strives to live a balanced and intentional life in the 21th century.
Most women go through 3 to 4 critical stages in her life. She usually
starts out as a young professional, after graduating from college. Her
main concerns at this early stage are jobs, dating, and possibly becoming
a first time home buyer.
She then moves into the next stage of growing a family. Her main concerns
at this expansion stage are kids, the need for a bigger home, and
maintaining a healthy relationship with her spouse. Money and finance are
often a big concern, and how the financial decisions are made today will
have a huge impact on their later years in retirement.
For some women who experience the unfortunate event of a divorce, they go
through a transitional stage where they are back to square one both
emotionally and financially. Many important financial decisions need to be
made, but often times, emotions are the drivers of those decisions, rather
than logic and ambition.
All women eventually move into a downsizing stage when they reach
retirement. How many women have the amount of money they need now to
retire and live out the rest of their lives in their desired lifestyle?
How many actually know what that magic NUMBER is?
For many women, financial decisions are made at each of these stages based
on immediate needs. Long term goals are often talked about, but are rarely
incorporated in the day-to-day decisions and practices.
