Tea Ceremony: Tea & Chocolate Pairing
Join us for a luxurious tea ceremony. The tea ceremony is an expression of individuality. Have you ever wondered how the tea ceremony began and what transformations have occurred over time? This seminar includes hands-on participation in a Chinese tea ceremony, tips to distinguish premium-grade teas, and an experience of the lingering taste of luxury Oolong tea, only available to tea connoisseurs. Join us to drink for a worthy cause, and drink for wellness!
To elevate the tea tasting experience, the class will introduce rules of logic on tea and food pairings. If you have been drinking tea with or after meals, you will probably be relieved to know that tasting does not require an extremely sophisticated knowledge of food or tea. If you already enjoy food on any level, then you already have some tasting vocabulary. There are four sets of pairing menus with luxury-grade Oolong teas and premium chocolates for each student to taste and share experience with the class.
Tasting Menu:
* SHiMONEi Golden Daylily Oolong with Schoggi Honey Truffle * SHiMONEi Deluxe Lake Forest Oolong with Schoggi Duet * SHiMONEi Eastern Beauty with Schoggi Dark Nuket Truffle * SHiMONEi Deluxe Iron Buddha with Schoggi Ice Square
