Join us for a special evening with comedians Lily Tomlin, Carol Leifer,Orny Adams, and Peter Berman to benefit Voice for the Animals Foundation.
The night begins with a Silent Auction, cocktails and appetizers, followed by an Awards Ceremony honoring individuals for their continued commitment to the animals in Los Angeles. Among others, the following people will be honored: Councilman Tony Cardenas, for his hard work and dedication to a number of initiatives including saving elephant, Billy, from the LA Zoo and also for passing the Spay and Neuter Ordinance, Lily Tomlin for being a strong animal welfare advocate and serving as a voice for the elephants, David Casselman for spearheading the legal campaign to close the Elephant Exhibit at the LA Zoo, and Team Billy for their dedication to saving Billy the Elephant from the LA Zoo.
Established in 1998, Voice For The Animals Foundation (VFTA) is a unique, Los Angeles-based non-profit organization known for its innovative community programs that support both animals and people. VFTA is devoted to creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, legislation and advocacy.
